Our Vision
To encourage mothers to participate in team-based, organized sports and adopt healthy and active lifestyle habits for themselves, their families, and the community in which they live.
Mamanet’s innovative model creates a “safe space” to join a team of other women who are playing for a dozen reasons beyond the simple intrigue of competition.
Established in 2005, Mamanet serves thousands of mothers worldwide, regardless of socioeconomic level, ethnicity, religion, or level of physical fitness.
The league is run by its participants, and acts as a leadership incubator; many participants become coaches, official representatives, and directors in local authorities and on national levels, leading to professional development and promoting economic mobility.
It’s not just fun and games…
Mamanet is way more than a sports league. Each tournament and international meeting also includes activities to promote essential causes like co-existence, awareness of breast cancer, the fight against domestic violence, youth at risk, elderly inclusion, and more. We are a springboard from which the global community — even the most conservative and traditional societies — can liberate women from passive and restrictive home-bound lifestyles.
